The Synapse

At most junctions, neurons do not touch. Where one meets the next, the electrical spike becomes a chemical message that drifts across a tiny gap. Press Release to send a neurotransmitter across the gap. Then switch on an agonist, an antagonist, or a reuptake blocker and see how each one changes what the next neuron feels.
