Match the Method

Before running an experiment, psychologists often start by describing behavior. Three descriptive methods do this job in very different ways. A case study goes deep on one person. Naturalistic observation watches behavior in its real setting. A survey asks many people the same questions. Read each research scenario, then tap the method it uses.
