The Interactive Body is a free set of 101 hands-on, animated lessons. Together they cover every body system. They run from fluids and acid-base to genetics, hormones, and more.
Instead of reading a slide, you do something. Click through a virus copying itself. Drag the pressure inside the skull up until Cushing's triad shows. Hear real lung sounds. Type a blood gas in and watch the tool work out the answer. Every topic opens in everyday words. The clinical detail goes on top of that. It works the first time through, and again when you review.
Made by Dr. Akash Garg, and free to use. The idea is simple. Pathophysiology sticks better when you play with it than when you drill a list.
Two lessons are full calculators, worth a bookmark. They are the ABG Interpreter and the Punnett Square Calculator. Type any values in and they solve it step by step.
Everything runs in your browser, and most of it works offline. Two things do need the internet. One is the typeface the site uses, from Google Fonts. The other is the 3D Coronary Artery lesson, which loads a 3D library. Both just look their best when you are online.
