Male reproductive nursing has two clock-driven emergencies and one relentless daily job. Toggle findings on the scrotal bench and watch the salvage curve tell you how much of that testicle is still savable. Then run continuous bladder irrigation — do the output subtraction, read the drainage colour, and catch TUR syndrome before it seizes. Finish by deciding give or hold on eight real medication orders.

What do you do first?
Anchor the two exam signs. The cremasteric reflex is elevation of the testis when the inner thigh is stroked — its absence is a hallmark of torsion. The Prehn sign is relief of pain when you lift the testis — relief (positive) points to epididymitis, no relief (negative) points to torsion.
