Open Textbooks

Full, peer-reviewed textbooks that are free to read, published under open licences. These sit alongside the Upper band books: mine give the argument and the shape of a subject, these give the complete reference treatment.

Licences differ and the difference matters. CC BY may be reused for any purpose with attribution. CC BY-NC-SA is non-commercial only, and anything built from it must carry the same licence. Both are free to read and to use in teaching. The exact licence for each book is shown below, because getting this wrong is a real problem rather than a formality.
