Your jobChoose a prefix, one or two roots and a suffix. The builder applies the combining vowel rules for you and shows which rule it used. Build each target term in the challenge list.

How it works: prefixes attach directly. A combining vowel o is kept between two roots and before a suffix that starts with a consonant, and dropped before a suffix that starts with a vowel. A built word can follow every rule and still not be a standard term, so the builder tells you when it is one.
The term splits into its colored parts once you answer. Questions are drawn at random from a written bank and from a term generator, so you can keep practicing as long as you like.
Your jobYou have 60 seconds. Tap a word part, then tap its meaning. Each match scores a point; a wrong match costs 3 seconds. Clear the board and a new set appears.
