Part 1: Burn Resuscitation Explorer

Teaching modelAdult Rule of Nines, split into front and back halves. Only partial- and full-thickness areas count toward TBSA. Rates follow the course text: Parkland 4 mL/kg/%TBSA, the ABA consensus start of 2 mL, or 3 mL for high-voltage electrical injury, with half due in the first 8 hours from the time of injury. Real resuscitation follows your facility's protocol and orders.
