Health Assessment · Module 14 · Hygiene, mobility, skin integrity and core skills
Hygiene, Mobility, Skin Integrity and Core Skills Lab
Set up a bed and watch pressure and shear build on the body, practice with unlimited questions at three levels, race the clock staging pressure injuries, and reason through scenarios with fictional patients. Nothing here is graded.
Part 1: Pressure and Position Explorer
Teaching modelLoads are relative numbers from 0 to 100, not measured pressures. Risk grows with load, time since the last turn, moisture and shear, which is enough to show the patterns the chapter teaches. Real patients vary, and policy and orders come first.
Your jobSet up a patient who needs tube feeding (head of bed 30 to 45 degrees) so every pressure site stays green for 2 hours. Then work through the challenges to see why each prevention step matters.

Part 2: Practice Trainer
Questions are drawn at random from a written bank plus number problems built fresh each time (Braden totals, Morse totals, urine output and orthostatic readings). Answer choices are shuffled every time.
Part 3: Stage It, Beat the Clock
Your jobEach card shows a wound or skin finding with a short description. Pick its stage, or "not a pressure injury", as fast as you can. Right answers score 1 point plus a streak bonus; you have 60 seconds.
Part 4: In Real Life
Fictional adults and simplified findings. For learning only, not medical advice.
Wrong picks are fine here. Each one tells you why.
