Three Lenses on the Family

Point three paradigms at the same household and you get three different buildings. The functionalist lens asks what the family does for society, the conflict lens asks who benefits from arranging it this way, and the interactionist lens asks how “family” gets produced at the dinner table. Switch lenses to watch the house get re-labelled, test each lens against three ordinary family facts, then sort twelve claims back to the paradigm that made them.
