Medical Terminology · Chapter 4
From Cell to Organism
Every level of the body — cell, tissue, organ, system, whole organism — owns its own combining forms, and a term tells you which level it is talking about. Snap a prefix, a root and a suffix together, watch the combining vowel stay or vanish, then read the assembled term back to front. Use Build to order when you want the machine to test you instead.
